Future Christian Homemakers
Teaching Girls to Become Successful Homemakers
Dear Ladies,
It is a real pleasure to offer the Future Christian Homemakers’ Handbook as an eBook here on The HomeMaker's Mentor, all 247 pages as a single download – for a discount of more than 40% off the original hardcover book! This is the original, complete FCH Handbook, with an updated Resources section, plus a new Bonus Section of 22 additional Devotionals (a total of 34 Devotionals). The hardcover Handbook is out of print, but occasionally you can find a copy on eBay, although usually for far more than the original $29.95 price.
When you purchase the eBook, you have permission to print copies of any of the pages for the students and volunteers in your FCH class, or for use with your own children at home. Have your students bring a 3-ring binder and place the pages in it. You might want to purchase a ream of 3-hole punched paper at an office supply store so the students can easily create their own Handbook. Or, some FCH leaders have their students purchase their own eBook. The choice is yours!
The Handbook lessons are flexible and are a starting point to give you basic cooking, baking and homemaking skills you and your students need. I hope you will add some of your own recipes and ideas, and encourage the students to share theirs, too.
Future Christian Homemakers began in 1998 when I started teaching a dozen girls in our church how to cook. Now there are FCH groups all over the world. Read what others have said about FCH and the Handbook.
